The performative installation adventure time no. 2 is the continuation of a project that took place during the 'in bed with artist'-residency in Cape Town, South Africa, 2017.
The huge pyjama that was created especially therefor functioned as accommodation for a 12h long performance in the host Nico Athene's bed. Like the bed, the night gown embodies a place of intimacy and comfort, but also represents a space that is totally non-discriminatory, that hosts people of all genders, sexualities, skin colours and social backgrounds. Our aim was to share a save haven with strangers while challenging the original coziness and privacy of the bed as such.

Now the project is entering into its second round. The performance experienced a revival in form of an exhibition at improper walls.
Other than at the first presentation the focus lies on the relationship between the sweet and unpalatable and the question is asked if such an intimate space can operate within a gallery context.
